Tree Juice Maple Syrup™ is made at Lazy Crazy Acres Farm. Nestled in the Drybrook Valley of the Catskills Mountains of New York, the Fairbairn family have owned and operated this 100+ acre farm since the 1930’s.
In 2012, Jake Fairbairn, Ryan Annetts and Rae Brundage resurrected the family’s sugar shack, which had been unused for eight years, and began making Tree Juice Maple Syrup™.
Around 8000 maple trees on the farm’s rolling hills are tapped each year. Miles of tubing gravity feed the sap to the sugar house where a wood fire evaporator turns the sap into sweet stuff.
Making History
To get the sap flowing, Tree Juice Maple Syrup™ started the first Maple Syrup CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). This system of agriculture business is common with vegetable farmers, but had not been widely used for maple syrup. Customers pre-pay for a small or large share and at the end of the season receive either a half or full gallon of sweet stuff. This allows farmers to purchase much needed supplies at the start of the season.
Tree Juice Maple Syrup™ CSA members are loyal fans and true syrupaholics! Tree Juice could not have started without their support. Each year, we open up shares for new and returning members. Find out how you can join on our CSA page.

A little something different…
Most of us are familiar with the amazing taste of 100% pure maple syrup. However, have you tried our other varieties? To change things up a bit, we have developed some variations on the traditional maple syrup to give you plenty of options when using our sweet stuff. In addition, we offer special seasonal varieties, so follow us on facebook or instagram to be the first to know when they launch!
Bourbon Barrel Aged
Pure Tree Juice Maple Syrup is aged in oak bourbon barrels, giving it a hint of oak, bourbon and caramel.
“Thanks for coming to the rescue when I needed more sweet stuff! I think everyone can relate to a syrup emergency. Your syrup is the BEST I’ve ever had, I’m in love.”
